Harlem Yoga Studio is dedicated to making yoga accessible & affordable to everyone in Harlem, and offers multiple donation based classes (pay only what you can per class.) In addition, they also boast belly dancing classes, free meditation, free workshops on nutrition and integrating yoga into your workplace as well as discounts for students.

BIKRAM YOGA EAST HARLEM

Voted one of the top 10 yoga studios in 2011 by Details magazine, this studio is owned and operated by Harlem natives, business partners, and sisters Stephanie Pope Caffey and Jennifer Pope. Bikram Yoga East Harlem offers traditional Bikram yoga, a 90 minute class in a heated room. The classes are a demanding 26 postures designed to warm and stretch your muscles, ligaments, and joints in the order in which they should be stretched naturally.

Bikram yoga believes, “The regular practice of yoga challenges all the weak areas and systems of the body until radiant health is achieved. First by creating a strong and powerful mind and body. LAND YOGA

This wonderful yoga studio just celebrated its one year anniversary! Owned by Lara Land, Land Yoga offers traditional Ashtanga style in two methods. Her practice is geared for the novice and the expert as well as everyone in between. The studio believes that everyone can learn and benefit from yoga no matter what their age or flexibility level.

Land Yoga offers a balance of challenge, relaxation and strength depending on the personal needs of the student. Lara is also offering a summer camp for children.

This 4400 sq ft training facility located in south Harlem offers over 25 classes per week, and specializes in Traditional (self defense, forms, basics) and Olympic (sparring techniques) styles. Classes are specifically tailored to children, teenagers, adults and beginners.
